Chain of Gold Boxes

Chain of Gold is probably Cassandra Clare's most anticipated book to date, and her and her publishers are certainly cashing in on that and making sure there's goodies for everyone. So far they have partnered with six different stores to bring us a variety of book boxes filled with exclusive merchandise for us to choose from.

Here is the breakdown of what each box includes to help you decide where to pre-order:

Good Choice Readings Virtual Signings Box:

• A personalized signed copy of the book

• An invitation to Tessa and Will's wedding

• A rune charm

• A Cortana bookmark

• A Seraph blade inspired key chain

Illumicrate's Glamour and Gold Box:

• A Walker Books' exclusive hardback edition of the book which will be clothbound, have sprayed edges, and be stamped with Cassie's signiture.

• 5-6 "high-value" items not yet disclosed

• A copy of the book

• A LitJoy-designed slipcase

• An exclusive print of James by Qistina Khalidah

• A bonus letter from a character written by Cassie

• A signed book plate

FairyLoot's Box:

• An exclusive edition of the book (also by Walker's Books) which will be a naked hardcover with an exclusive foil design, stencil sprayed edges, and have Cassandra's signature stamped into it

• 4 officially licensed items — although they have not stated what all the items will be, one has been confirmed to be a replica of the Mortal Cup

The Bookish Box's Collector's First Edition Box:

• A copy of the book with a matching signed nameplate

• An exclusive dust jacket

• A Bookish Shop shirt (most sizes available and you can upgrade to a different style shirt or hoodie)

• A few officially licensed items to be revealed

(If you are only interested in the exclusive letter content, you can also get that extra if you order the Waterstones special edition of the book.)

All copies of the book included in all of the above boxes will be the Collector's First Edition which includes the extra "A Fairy Tale of London" (the story of Will and Tessa's wedding) and an interior front piece depicting the main characters.*

*the Walker's editions may not have the front piece as it was not clear, but it will definitely have the story as specified.
